Where ancient wisdom meets modern healing in a space designed to restore you.

At Float Valley, our acupuncture sessions are more than just needles—they’re holistic, deeply nourishing experiences tailored to your body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture works with your body’s natural intelligence (qi) to restore balance, ease pain, and bring you into alignment.

What is Acupuncture?

Every treatment is thoughtfully customized using a combination of techniques such as acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, therapeutic massage, and TCM-based lifestyle guidance. You’ll leave feeling more grounded, clear, and connected.

A foundational therapy in TCM, acupuncture uses fine, sterile needles to stimulate specific points along energy pathways (meridians) in the body. This helps regulate internal systems, calm the nervous system, reduce inflammation, and awaken the body’s self-healing potential.

Our Registered Acupuncturists (R.Ac) are here to help you feel empowered on your wellness journey—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

What to Expect from Your Session

Your session begins with a personalized intake, where we take the time to understand your unique needs and goals. Depending on what your body is calling for, your treatment may include:

  • Acupuncture to balance the flow of energy
  • Cupping to release tension and stagnation
  • Gua Sha for lymphatic flow and pain relief
  • Moxibustion for warmth, nourishment, and immune support
  • Therapeutic massage to relax the body and calm the nervous system
  • Diet & lifestyle guidance to support healing beyond the treatment room

Our healing environment is unlike any other. You’ll receive care in a serene, energetically aligned space where modern wellness meets timeless tradition. Our Healing Modalities

Moxibustion

Moxibustion involves the burning of aged mugwort (moxa) near or on acupuncture points to warm the body and boost vitality. This ancient therapy is incredibly nourishing for conditions rooted in cold, depletion, or stagnation.

Especially supportive for:

  • Menstrual discomfort and PMS
  • Cold hands/feet and poor circulation
  • Digestive issues like bloating or IBS
  • Joint pain and arthritis
  • Immune support and deep relaxation

Cupping

Using glass or silicone cups, cupping creates a gentle suction that lifts the skin, fascia, and muscle—inviting blood flow, breaking up stagnation, and relieving pain. Moving cupping techniques may also be used to sweep tension out of the body.

Benefits include:

  • Muscle soreness and tightness
  • Stiff neck, shoulders, back, or legs
  • Immune support and detoxification
  • Nervous system regulation and relaxation

This practice is helpful for:

  • Muscle tension, jaw tightness, and TMJ
  • Headaches and facial puffiness
  • Neck and shoulder pain
  • Immune and lymphatic support
  • Natural facial glow and rejuvenation

Tuina Massage

Tuina massage is a Traditional Chinese Medicine massage that uses several different techniques to support the whole body. A practitioner works on the meridians of the body to alleviate pain, tonify organs, drain dampness and relax the muscles and sinews.

Reasons to do Tuina Massage:

  • Body pain or muscle soreness
  • Immune support
  • Headache
  • Digestive concerns: IBS, bloating, diarrhea, constipation
  • Menstrual cramps
  • Arthritis
  • De-stress & relaxation

TCM lifestyle & Nutrition Counseling

An acupuncturist has training in nutrition as well as can offer individualized lifestyle recommendations to support your healing in and outside of the treatment room. These recommendations can include nutrition such as, what foods to avoid and what foods to consume for your body constitution. As well as, guidance on meditation and mindfulness practices.
