Discover Ozone’s impact on the circulatory system, ease muscular and arthritic tension, as well as its ability to fight germ related diseases, and strengthen the immune system.
What is Ozone Sauna?
Add an extra molecule to Oxygen (O2), and you create Ozone (O3).
Our Ozone Sauna produces O3, dispersed from the neck down in the sauna chamber. Ozone is great for combating many types viruses and bacteria, strengthening the immune system, and helping muscular and arthritic tension through circulation.
The sauna uses steam to soothe and heat you. This serves to increase circulation and open your pores so that ozone is easily absorbed by the skin and into the blood stream.
As the ozone enters your bloodstream, it activates your immune system. As it stimulates your immunity, it also purifies your blood and inactivates a variety of organisms living in your body, including, viruses, bacteria, parasites, yeast, fungi and protozoa.
Additionally, this sauna is equipped with Far Infrared technology. As steam gently fills the sauna, infrared photons penetrate the skin to help increase blood flow and circulation. This breaks painful inflammatory cycles by dilating small blood and lymphatic vessels. The result is increased circulation, leading to accelerated healing and pain relief.
Ozone Sauna can help:

A full session lasts 30 minutes. When the session begins, it will take 2-5 minutes for it to reach its full heat. The goal with Ozone sauna isn’t to elevate your heart rate and sweat profusely, but rather to get ozone into your system. A Float Valley staff member will be present to check on you during your session to see if you need any assistance or need to reduce the temperature. Your full body and hands will be inside the unit, so having an attendant on hand is very helpful.
When you enter the sauna, a towel will be placed on the seat to absorb perspiration during your session, and one around your neck area as to not allow any ozone or steam to escape during the session.
If at any point you are feeling uncomfortable or too hot, please let us know when we come by the room to check on your session. It’s important to listen to your body and not overdo it.
Feel free to ask us for tips on how to improve your sauna experience at Float Valley.
Drink lots of water post-session. We offer reverse osmosis UV filtered water, so feel free to bring your water bottle and fill it up. It’s recommended to drink as warm water as possible to increase the absorption of Ozone in the body.
We recommend you NOT take a shower after your ozone sauna session. There will still be ozone on your skin which can take up to 1 hour to fully absorb.
After exiting the sauna, please use the provided towel to wipe any excess sweat off your body before changing back into your clothes. We’ve found that after the sauna, it’s quite comfortable to not shower for the remainder of the day.
